This website is owned and controlled by CACL (“us,” “we”), with the registered office at 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, registered in England, number 3931018. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the CACL membership website, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through [www.cadvantage.co.uk] (the “Site”), whether as a guest or a registered user. 

By using the Site, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy, you must not access or use the Site.

Services Offered, Pricing and Availability 

Registered users may have access to services (each, a “Service”) and products (each, a “Product”) provided by CACL through the Site which include, but are not limited to: 

  • General Market Research Reports: Publication and sale of Products comprising market research reports. 
  • Commissioned Market Research and other consulting services: Services comprising tailored research and other services for member clients, which may in turn be subject to additional terms and conditions. 
  • Online Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses: Delivery of Products comprising CPD courses related to construction marketing and sales. 

CACL takes great care to ensure that Service and Product descriptions are accurate and that Services and Products are available at stated prices. However, we reserve the right to adjust prices, Service and Product descriptions, and availability without notice. We also reserve the right to limit quantities sold. 

Contract Formation and Payment 

As noted above, some Services may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be published in relation to the specific Service. By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. The contract between us is formed when we accept your order. We accept your order when we begin the Service you ordered. 

Right of Cancellation of Membership 

Where you have signed up to membership of the Site, you are entitled to cancel your membership within a specified period if you decide that our services no longer meet your needs. Below are the terms governing the cancellation of membership: 

Initial Cancellation Period:   

You have the right to cancel your membership for any reason within the first three months from the start date of your membership agreement. This initial cancellation period offers you the opportunity to evaluate our services and ensure they align with your expectations and requirements. 

How to Cancel 

To cancel your membership within the three-month period, please follow these steps: 

  • Notify us of your decision to cancel your membership by contacting our customer service team. This can be done via email, phone, or written communication. 
  • Provide your membership details, including your name, address, and membership number, to facilitate a smooth cancellation process. 


Upon cancellation of your membership within the three-month period, you will be entitled to a pro-rata refund of your membership fee, based on the remaining term of your membership. The refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 14 days of your cancellation request. 

 After the Initial Cancellation Period 

If you decide to cancel your membership after the initial three-month period, please be aware that refunds will not be provided for any remaining portion of the membership term. However, you can choose not to renew your membership at the end of the current term by notifying us at least 30 days before your renewal date. 

 Changes to Cancellation Rights 

CACL reserves the right to modify the membership cancellation rights at any time. Any changes will be communicated to our members in advance and will apply to subsequent membership renewal periods. 

Our Liability 

CACL does not exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. However, we are not responsible for losses not caused by our breach or for indirect losses. 

Electronic Communications 

By using our Services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, such as emails, texts, mobile push notices, or notices and messages on this Site or through our other services. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing. 


CACL’s trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not CACL’s, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits CACL.
